There's a specific kind of gut punch that comes from building something that works and still hearing it isn't enough. You've put in the hours, the product runs, and someone smart looks at it and asks who exactly needs this. It stings because the problem was never your effort.

On this week's Hello Chaos, Jennifer Sutton sits down with Yasith Vidanaarachchi, cofounder and CTO of Quantuma. Yasith spent years engineering at Google, Meta, and Amazon before going all in on his own company, where he's building AI for financial firms that can't send sensitive data to tools like ChatGPT.

His first big lesson came early, when Y Combinator told him a good technical product isn't a business. Instead of getting defensive, he went looking for more hard feedback. He talks to customers constantly, messages strangers on LinkedIn knowing most won't answer, and has learned to scrap work that isn't leading anywhere. A 16-week accelerator and a demo day in front of 500 investors pushed him to sharpen his story. And he did all of it as a self-described introvert.

If you've been heads down building and quietly avoiding the conversations that might sting, this one is for you. The feedback you dread is usually the fastest route to the right problem. Ask yourself what you've been protecting by not asking.

Founders rarely get stuck because the truth was too hard to hear. They get stuck because they waited too long to hear it.

Listen now to hear how Yasith is turning chaos into a business that matters.

AI Won’t Replace Ranchers. But It Will Change Who Wins.

AI can analyse data.

AI can generate recommendations.

But someone still has to make things happen in the real world.

DIT AgTech combines hardware, AI, nutrition automation and real-time data to turn intelligence into action across livestock operations.

It gives ranchers technology that works alongside them, automating supplementation and helping them produce more with less.

That's Physical AI.

And it's already operating in the real world, across 500+ deployed units and 370,000 head of livestock on the platform.

As AI moves from screens into the physical economy, DIT AgTech is building the infrastructure for it in livestock production.

And the market is massive.

Livestock is still one of the world's least automated major industries. The race to bring Physical AI to it has barely begun.

Be one of the first to see where this is going.
