When Your Wiring Becomes the Work

At seven years old in Nigeria, Kelly Dowd was already teaching neighborhood kids. He didn’t call it entrepreneurship then—he just knew he had something to give. Years later, after a career in fashion, a pivot into banking, and a burnout that nearly broke him, Kelly finally listened. That’s when everything shifted.

Kelly, founder of FIDA Design, is a neurodivergent entrepreneur who turned his breakdown into a breakthrough. He’s learned to use strategic empathy for entrepreneurs as a leadership tool and built a practice that blends interior design with fashion branding. His approach? Turn ADHD, dyslexia, and intuition into design assets. Stop hiding. Start building from who you actually are. That’s empathetic leadership for founders in action.

What parts of your story have you pushed aside? What strengths have you mislabeled as flaws? When you give yourself permission to build with your whole self, everything changes. That's what founder mental health and energy really look like.

Clarity comes from embracing the chaos—not escaping it. Kelly brings lessons on entrepreneurial burnout and recovery, interior design and fashion, personal brand blueprint thinking, and building something real. Lessons founders can use today.
